Our house is available for rent and has many interesting features as a vacation rental. The house itself is very spacious and well located close to summer and winter outdoor activities and to the town of Morin Heights. See our activities page for ideas on things to do in the area. House Features

- Bathrooms: main bathroom has a jetted tub with a shower, toilet, sink and lots of natural light from 2 windows. Upstairs bathroom has a toilet and sink and is also the laundry room

Common questions.
1. What size are the beds?
The master bedroom has a double bed.
The second bedroom has two single beds and the
loft has a double futon.
2. Do we need to bring our own sheets?
You have the option to bring your
own sheets or you can use ours for an extra
$30 charge.
3. Can we drink the water?
Our water is from a deep well. It
has a slight taste but has been tested and is
very good to drink.
4. How is your house heated?
We have radiant floor heating. Specifically
the house is built on a concrete slab with heating
placed in the floor before the last layer of
concrete was poured. There are 4 heating zones
each controlled by a separate thermostat. There
are separate heaters in the bedrooms and the
fireplace can also be used to heat up the house.
5. Do you provide firewood?
This depends on how much we have left
. Please ask when contacting us about renting.
6. What is the parking situation and
snow removal?
There is enough parking for 4 cars
and we have a seasonal snow removal contract.
There is a lot of snow in general because of
our placement on the mountain.
7. Do you allow pets?
Dogs are allowed, but we must be notified.
8. What are some nearby activities?
For winter activities, there are some
great snowshoeing trails and a small hill for
tobogganing right on our property. The Viking
Cross Country Ski club is just a short walk
or ski away. Ski Morin Heights is only 10 minutes
away and offers ski, snowboard and snowshoe
rentals. There are several spas nearby, the
closest being Spa Le Refuge in Morin Heights.
The town of Saint-Sauveur is only 15 minutes
away and has many activities and especially
many restaurants. In the summer there are a
choice of several beaches and hiking trails
nearby. There is also the aerobic corridor for
cycling which you can access from the town of
Morin Heights. See our activities

9. Can we use the telephone?
Yes, However, please limit long distance
calls to the bare minimum.
10. How much cleaning is required before
leaving?
All debris, and garbage must be placed
in the dumpsters outside; the blue dumpster
is for recycling and the black for garbage.
Also all soiled dishes must be cleaned and either
left in the drying rack or put away. The floors
should be swept if necessary.
